04 · BOARD MEMBERSHIP

Hold the course, from inside the boardroom.

Independent board representation and governance oversight — for companies that want a steady, experienced voice at the table, not just an advisor outside it.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Governance is different from advice.

An advisor can be right and still be ignored. A board seat carries real weight — a vote, a legal duty, and shared accountability for the decisions a company makes. We take that seriously: the same discipline we bring to our own board seats is what we bring to yours.

We currently serve as board members ourselves, which shapes how we approach the role elsewhere — prepared, willing to ask the uncomfortable question before the market does, and accountable for the calls we're part of.

SCOPE OF WORK

Where we typically get called in.

  • Independent board membership

Serving as a non-executive or independent director, bringing outside judgement to strategic, financial and risk decisions without day-to-day involvement in management.

  • Governance oversight

Helping a board and its committees run properly — clear reporting lines, documented decisions, and oversight that holds up to a lender's, investor's or auditor's scrutiny.

  • Strategic sounding board

A second, experienced opinion on major decisions before they reach a vote — funding, ownership changes, senior hires, market entry — from someone who has sat on both sides of the table.
